2:00-2:30 PM - The Oyster Guy – “Oysters 101 & the Art of Shucking” – Join Nicholas DiPasquale, owner of The Oyster Guy, for Oysters 101. Nick is a certified shellfish dealer, committed to the connection of local aqua farmers with oyster and clam enthusiasts. Learn about local oysters and how to shuck like a pro! Nick will be featuring local oysters from Fallen Pine Oyster Farm.

 

2:45-3:15 PM - Savory Experiments – “Italian Seafood Stew” – Jessica Formicola is the creator of Savory Experiments, a food and lifestyle website that helps home cooks create tasty meals. She is also the author of Beef It Up! cookbook, contributes regularly to publications like MSN, Better Homes & Gardens, Mashed and Parade, worked with 100+ national food brands, is a Le Cordon Bleu certified recipe developer and appears regularly on TV. Savory Experiment’s Italian Seafood Stew is a quick and easy fifteen-minute meal that can incorporate any seafood with unique ingredients. You’ll learn about their offerings as well as how to build the perfect charcuterie board for entertaining.
